- 140 British pounds£140
- Home of Larkswold: Adlestrop
Service Description
Like the journey of the coffee bean to the fresh cup of coffee, Ben our resident bushcraft instructor will walk you through the fascinating process of carving a functional wooden spoon from a freshly felled log. As a professional forester and bushcraft instructor he will safely guide you through the whole process using only traditional techniques and tools, such as the Sloyd knife, crook knife and small carving axe. This is a full day course and with a group size limited to 5 you can rest assure you're getting the best tuition. Breaks for tea, coffee and cake as well as light lunch are all included. Please note: Despite how it sounds this skill doesn't really rely on a massive amount of strength (technique is the key!) This workshop is physical and can be a little hard on the hands; gel nails could be an issue!
