Service Description

Embrace your inner creativity through mark making and expressive drawing with Debs Last. Absolutely NO previous experience required and no reason to be afraid. All materials will be provided. Outline for the day: 10.00 Welcome and coffee 10.30-11.30 Mark making (materials: pencils, charcoal, pastels) 11.30 - 12.30 Single line drawings 12.30 Lunch (included) 1.15 - 2.30 Introducing the big shadow shapes. Drawing light by drawing the dark! 2.30 - 4.00 Landscape drawing using shadow shapes and single line drawings Debs Last is a contemporary artist based right here in the Cotswolds. She has been creating her whole life and runs art classes, alongside her own art practice. These exercises come from a class she has previously run called, ‘Drawing and Painting for the Terrified.” This workshop is designed for those who want to draw but believe they can’t and maybe never will! Through tested and creative exercises, you will learn to let go of the fear of getting things wrong and enjoy making marks playfully, expressively and with a new free kind of accuracy. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
