Service Description
The world of Mosaic styles, materials and projects is vast. We know ourselves how some Mosaic pieces take longer than others - or maybe we just want to spend all day on them to enjoy the process. If you would like to spend the day with us, we include our usual homemade lunch as well as all the cake & refreshments you can squeeze in while you work. You may choose to keep cutting and placing tiles onto your project until the last minute, or use the longer day to completely finish your piece and grout your mosaic while in the studio - it's up to you and you can decide on the day. You will learn how to create using the 'Direct Method' of Mosaic onto an MDF board. Using a 20cmx 20cm base you can create a mosaic suitable to be your door plaque, a trivet in your kitchen or maybe a stunning piece of wall art for your home. If you somehow complete that project you are welcome to make additional pieces It is worth thinking about what you would like to create: an animal, a pattern or perhaps a house number? As always, Pinterest is a wonderful place to investigate as well as our images on this site. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to enjoy making mosaics with a group of other creative peeps. All materials are included as well refreshments, cake and lunch.
