Busy little bees!

How was your week? Its been a little crazy (in a good way) this week. What haven’t we had running in the tent?

We’ve had hot hot hot and a little bit of brrrr as well as a shed load of pitter patter and a soupçon of thunder and lightening. Through it all, our guests have worked hard to gobble yummy cake and sip homemade elderflower cordial and one or two glasses of bubbly.

Firsts:

Celebratory drinks for a mum whose daughter got engaged

65th Birthday for Jan (a Russian interpreter no less)

Emma got a weekend off (v glad my friend is back now)

Evening lampshade making party with nibbles (If you fancy an evening do in the marquee, do call)

Seconds:

Our 2nd ever Hen Do for the lovely Megan making scented candles.

Thirds:

3 for 2 for tomorrows Punch Needle session at 2.30pm. If you fancy trying your hand at this super cool on-trend craft, give me a call (07704346458) and I will get you booked on.

On the flock front, they have been in my bad books for eating all the succulents out of my green house that we use for succulent wreaths, and have laughed at myself and guests during our yoga session…I’d like to see them do any better!

They have also decided that if at first you don’t succeed when attempting to get into the marquee via the back door; pop round to the front and try again. After they have tried this tactic 5 or 6 times generally one gets fed peas because a guests wants a little ducky photo shoot!

Craft workshops run in the marquee this week included:

2 x full day silversmith workshops

1 x macrame feather workshop

2 x scented candle making sessions

1 x lino printing workshop

2 x dried flower wreath making

1 x beeswax wraps workshop

Wow…no wonder I am thinking things are picking up.

However, we do get lonely when you guys don’t visit, so what are you waiting for, find a few buddies or family peeps and come on over.

Enjoy the weekend

Melinda x
