Afternoon! How has your week been?
We've actually had a lovely time. Highlights included Block Printing with our lovely return guests on Tuesday and Lino Cutting with Kristy and her mum over from Australia. Sometimes its a bit of a treat to have a little bijou session as it means Emma and I get to play at being crafty too. I have been working on Jubilee crafts and lampshades for the studio and Emma has also been decoupaging bird houses and block printing bunting.
By the time you receive this blog we should have been round and done a little leaflet drop. Not quite sure where...maybe in Stow on the Wold? Kingham? or possibly Moreton in Marsh (mostly so I can go and peruse the charity shops whilst we are there). We have made a few little tweaks on the website and have also released a paper copy of all our workshop dates (You can download it here).
Workshops you might like to try this month...
Willow weaving: Saturday 18th June
Wellbeing: Friday 24th June
Carve a Wooden Spoon: 25th June
These are all full day workshops catering for both lovely couples wanting a little creative retreat, as well as individuals want to learn a craft and of course friends where one wants to do it, but they have dragged their friend along who "isn't crafty" but we can guarantee they will have loved it by the end of the session. If you know someone who might like to join us, do forward this to them, or why not treat them by purchasing one of our gift experiences.
What are your plans for the Jubilee? Emma is organising a street party in her neck of the woods in Stow and we are both going to be back at the Cotswold Farm Park on Friday 3rd June spreading a little Jubilee Larkswold loveliness.
On the flock front, both Felicity and Big Red are broody and sitting on their eggs thanks to Sebastion the very debonair dancing cockerel and I think I need to get Batman the runner duck one of those "Leave me alone I'm a grumpy old duck t-shirts!"
Anyway, enjoy a lovely weekend and hopefully see you soon.
Melinda
