PAWS
The home of Larkswold is not a home without the mess of muddy foot prints, a waggy tail following some flapping wings and a lot of quacking!
Zinzi the Springador has been holidaying with us throughout July while her family holiday in the states. Zinz is the perfect gentle soul; always happy to see you with plenty of chocolate brown fur available to cuddle. She is the kind of dog you really should go and get if you are considering a new pooch. So of course I’ve just rescued a piranha biting Kangaroo German Shorthaired pointer!
Zinzi is going home today and we are really going to miss her calmness and tireless patience with a puppy hanging off her neck! Thanks for making our summer x
Meet Kanga - now 9 weeks old and rescued but the wonderful Hope Rescue center after her very young mother had been bred but not cared for with kindness. We collected her last Saturday and have since returned to the new baby world of waking every hour in the night and just staring at how cute she is.
Yes, I know you subscribe to hear about crafts, workshops, and other fun stuff you can get involved with!
LITTLE LARKS
First off - Birdland - where were you all? We saw quite a lot of you on Tuesday whilst we had our team face painting, but then you all decided that it was a bit wet and miserable on Wednesday and so clearly stayed in. True Little Lark supporters were rewarded with dinosaur and bird printing into terracotta clay and wrapped up, ready to take home and hang as a momentum in their bedrooms. The team had such fun, and we will be playing with clay again at Birdland on Wednesday 14th August.
If you are local, it's worth getting your membership now because you can then see us at Birdland every Tuesday and Wednesday until September. Next week we are block printing the cutest litlle tote bags and working on our Axolotal facepainting designs.
I will also be working on smuggling in Bertie, Batman and Pei-King my runner drakes and leaving via the side entrance with as many fluffy 5 week old runner ducklings as my tote bag can take....If anyone asks I can confirm - Chris (head keeper) said I could :-)
If you can't see us in Bourton, Emma is in the studio with Little Larks crafty club. Suitable for 10+:

I must now go and do some summer holiday parenting (send Jo to the gym with her brother!) make the house look presentable (hide everything in the piano room) and do some real work.....avoidance by messing around in the studio when I should be providing Hannah our accountant with sales information!
Enjoy your weekend
