Summer Sale is Here!

Yep, a bit of sun, a little rain, maybe a gust of 40 mile an hour wind; so the usually British summer weather is here.

We had an awesome time at Adlestrop and Oddington Open days last week. Children and adults alike got creative with block printing and felt festival headbands. We loved meeting old guests who live in the local area as well as chatting to those who now know we are here and fancy a little Larkswold loveliness.

Our next jolly out will be Wild@Winchcombe GWSR (Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway). Seed bombs, more block printing with cool bug blocks and bug hotels. We will be there over 2 weeks in August.

SALE

We all like a little discount don't we? Well Larkswold is officially 2 years old. In honour of this fact we decided to have a party....But then we booked some workshops so have to work so cant have a party just yet.

INSTEAD we are offering 50% off workshops on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th July

Tilly @ Chipping Camden School

We waived goodbye to Tilly today. She spent the week with us on work experieince. She has seen how to spend your profits on fab things such as new Indian blocks and mosaic tiles, taken over our social media, made a bug house and seed bombs as well block printed baby muslins. We made sure she kept it real and showed her how to use the coffee machine and all in all we think she enjoyed her time with us.

Next Up... WI Furoshiki

Emma is rather pleased with herself having just knocked up a Furoshiki (the Japanese art of fabric gift wrapping & carrying) rucksack. We are off to Little Wolford next week to talk to the ladies at the WI about how we set up Larkswold and then have a little hands on go at Furoshiki.

Flock Update

Our new chicks are growing well and getting more adventurous jumping out the coup and tentatively investigating the bottom of the garden. Thanos and Red "The Mums" still fluff themselves up acting all tiger mum when you get close, but no more aggressive pecking my eyes out!

Sebastian the cockerel has been showing his attentions predominately to Felicity so we invited her in for a little studio day to have a little rest!

Enjoy your weekend and if you are starting to think what you will be doing with the children over the holidays, maybe a Little Larks workshop might be on the cards. We have selected three Monday mornings in August: 8th, 15th and 22nd for 8+ year olds. 2hrs of fun crafting in the Larkswold studio (and plenty of cake and coffee avialble for Mum or Dad to buy if they fancy hanging out on the sofas.
