I know, the Autumnal nights are drawing in and you NEED the Larky blog to make you giggle while you snuggle up to the bottle of red and the remote control. Now - if you have been a true Larkswold follower (unlike Hannah our accountant that has apprently not seen half our social posts recently!) you will know that Em and I hung up our aprons and swanned off to Vienna with a few friends for a classy Viennese experience. Not only did we listen to the National Viennese opera in the park at breakfast (with a small glass of bubbly), we visited the Belvedere Palace and saw Klimt’s The Kiss painting and fell in love with the most stunning view of Vienna at the same time.
Emma wasn't quite as inspired to join me in some impromptu interpretive dance moves after a few gins, but she lead the charge when we went for a dip in the Old Danube river. Much fun was had by all and an upgrade to Business Class on the flight home to top it all off, thanks to our exceptional friend Sandra who grew up in Vienna and outdid herself as our tour guide.

The studio was left in the capable hands of Robyn our ceramicist helping a private party to create wonderful March hares - supported by the wonderful Holly Mae Crochet on refreshments. If you’re interested, Holly is also running some evening beginner crochet sessions. Check out the details here.
Leather Bookbinding: Sunday 5th October (3hrs, £65)

Your Ghost moment awaits!
If you haven't yet been to one of our pottery on the wheel workshops, you really must. This fun workshop will give you an introduction to wheel-throwing, including shaping, centering, and refining your pots. You will learn to create functional pottery bowls using the potter's wheel, with personalised instruction and attention from Selby our fabulous pottery tutor. Having taught students for many years, Selby has never had anyone who hasn’t managed to make a pot!
Basket making, Saturday 25th October (Full day, £150)

To complete your basket, you will create a simple trac-border & add a willow handle. Lunch and all the cake a refreshments you can wish for are included.
A final word from me: CAKE, i just didnt want you to forget why you really like coming to Larkswold :-)
Have fun
