Friday and the sun is shining.
Lots of silversmithing, glass fusing, lampshade making and scented candles going on in the studio this week.
I’ve been in Brixham, enjoying a little wild swimming….ok paddling! And falling in love with mosaic all over again.
Emma has been trying out the new block printing blocks and developing the footstool weaving which we hope to launch soon.
What's coming up?
Wonderful willow. Without a doubt willow sculpture continues to be one of our most popular workshops. Runner duck, Heron or Hare, guests do walk away amazed at how clever they have been to weave their masterpieces.
We still love Kate who runs our willow sessions. She says it as it is, so if you’ve made a dogs dinner she’ll be sure to mention it - but then she’s straight on with working with you to get things back on track.
Done that ? and are one of our serial guests? You could use Mother’s Day as an excuse to come over? You can choose from either spring wreaths or scented candle making, topped off with a cream tea to treat yourself and mummy kins. 10am Sunday 27th March (3hrs). £65 per person.
Right, I’m off to check out Broad sands beach near Paignton. Would very much like to visit Rockfish restaurant again, where we had oysters and freshly caught Brill.
Thanks to all the lovely peeps looking after the Larkswold flock this week. I’m very tempted to bring a seagull back, but probably won’t fit in my duffel bag!
Enjoy your weekends!
Melinda
