Service Description

This is an introduction to papercutting with wonderful local talent, Lou from Paper Panda. We're delighted Lou has decided to pick up her scalpel again and is joining us in the studio to show you how to papercut like a pro! In this 3 hour workshop she will help you to gain confidence with this satisfying craft by cutting easy practice lines before moving onto more challenging shapes. Lou has designed all the images in this workshop in her recognisable style and it's a fascinating process to cut them. It's surprising how attached you get to these little designs as they appear before you! You can choose on the day what to cut: A circular design or two to insert into a coaster (included) A gorgeous bird design in a tiny hanging frame A bookmark Should you be a whizz and speed ahead you are welcome to cut further designs. Please note: a steady hand and good eyesight are not compulsory, but will make this workshop infinitely more enjoyable! As usual, you'll enjoy our homemade cakes and bottomless teas, coffees or cold drinks - a glass of bubbly towards the end of the session completes your experience with us. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
