Strawcraft - July summer special

Wednesday 8th July 7-9pm - experience a red-listed Heritage craft

Service Description

Come along for a few hours of mindful making in this summer special. Learn the basics of straw work with Ian, who has been honing his skill over the last 50 years with the support of his wife Emma, who is also an experienced strawcraft maker. Starting with a simple plaited ‘Sweetheart Corn Dolly’, then progressing to a ‘Glory Braid’ Ian and Emma will guide you through this craft step by step. Suitable for 12yrs+ with some crafting experience, to adults. All materials provided. A few hours of mindfulness and creativity doing this very traditional, environmentally friendly craft. All our evening workshops include a Larkswold Cocktail (alcoholic & non-alcoholic options) alongside some savoury vegetarian nibbles. Our bar will be open for any additional purchases. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
