Service Description

Saturday 28th March 10-4pm Underwater Worlds – Delve into cool summer seas and learn to create dynamic watercolour artwork inspired by travel, from sea glass and shells, to underwater scenes packed with seaweed, coral, and fish! In this full day workshop you'll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative sea-themed and underwater designs in a colour palette of your choice. You'll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, ink details, and accents of metallics. You can use inspiration from your own imagination as well Kate’s own portfolio of designs and patterns. Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high-quality Giclée prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed her work in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her first book Creative Abstract Watercolour was published in Spring 2024, and her 2nd publication, Creative Abstract Mixed Media followed in Autumn 2025. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists. As with all our workshops, you'll enjoy our homemade cakes and bottomless teas, coffees or cold drinks, and as you'll be with us all day we'll also provide lunch (just let us know any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to the workshop) A glass of bubbly towards the end of the session completes your experience with us! Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
